City & Hackney Carers Centre is the host organisation for the Hackney SEND Parent Carer Forum (HSPCF). We are working with local parent carers, partners and decision makers from social care, health and education services to co-produce a new forum.
The forum will enable parents and carers of children (0-25yrs) with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to work in collaboration with local decision makers, communicating their views and experiences and helping to shape local services.
We will also provide information and training on topics of importance to parents and carers, we hope that parent carers can benefit from coming together, sharing experiences and developing a network of support.
